Angkor Advisor Foundation

Cambodia country and its people got through the war for more than 30 years, such as in the Khmer Rouge Genocide Regime all were destroyed including road infrastructure, hospitals, religion especially the education system and human resources. After the terrible time was over our country has gradually recovered through Tourism field which we have found out very supportive.  

Since we have worked in this field, we have met and connected with many generous travelers around the world who had traveled with us and wanted to help reduce the poverty in our country. As the result, the benefit from the travelers who chose our services or traveled with us, we have paid back a lot to poor communities and people by providing many water concrete ring wells and water pump wells for those who live in the isolated or remote countryside for their daily uses. As you know water is the life and prosperity of all human and living beings.

Beside this clean water well project we also focus on school kid uniform, school supplies and school kids bicycle project as well because many poor children have no school uniforms and they walked to school very far from home. The education is one of the most important fields and of course the children are the future leaders of every country, especially Cambodia.

Sponsors for Foreign Languages

We sponsor for small English and German school courses in Treang village, Sangkat Slor Krahm, siemreap town, province. We provide the small English course books, pencils, pens, and pay the wages for teacher every months. This activity, we do not only here, we want to spread more to the rural poorest communities, but our budgets are limited. Of cause what we say we do. we still need your helps to sponsor and volunteer for these children in Cambodia.

Water Wells for poor Communities

The people of Cambodia at the rural area still lack of the water at the hot dry season, they also drink dirt water from lakes, creeks, canals and other sources. It has no hygiene for living. Angkor Advisor Foundation is going to share some budgets to support that program. But we are looking forwards for helping from other external environments.

I saw many guests or tourists supported only the places those are not lacking of Water like the areas which have already plenty of water, especially near the Angkor temples. But you go further more, thus you will see what they need from you.

Bicycles for poor Children and Ophanages

Every year the Angkor Advisor Team provides one or two bikes for poor children and orphanages at the rural area. We do not give many bikes, it also according to our budgets. But we also look forwards you to supply our program as well. Why do we do this? Because we worked every where in Cambodia, and we saw many poor children do not go to school although the school free of charge, but some areas they still walk around seven or five kilometers to school. All the poor children and orphanages have no good chances for their future lives. Some poor families keep their children for working at rice farm or look after the baby or water buffaloes. Some have no many to buy the school uniforms or writing-books and pens,so this way they all decided to stop learning.

We saw like this situation, we try to create the foundation that means to help the communities above details. Owing to in Cambodia does not have any school buses, trains or cars, our foundation can help a bit for poorest.

Health for Children

We saw many children in Cambodia have not any health care insurance; we worked already with children at the poor floating communities such as Me Chhrey, Kompong Khleang, Kompong Plug, Kompong Loung and other places at the country sides of Cambodia. At the new destination of tourists at Me Chhrey, We saw many kinds are very dirty and itches, wounds such as on the faces, legs, hands and head. Our team helps to cure them primly like applying the Antibiotic and clean all of wounds on skins and stick the plaster and bandages. All these medicaments, plasters and bandages,we received from our tourists that

participate with Angkor Advisor Adventures. The day after we are their again, we can see all those kids are well and the Angkor Advisor Foundation will help more for health as soon as possible. But we still wait for external environments, too.

We need schooling, but it has no school

I went to visit Preah Vihear temple again on 03.may.2010.  This time, I saw many army and their children who live together at the hot crisis area between Cambodian and Thai. They are not the army, but they are wearing the soldier-uniforms and stand near the temple Preah Vihear and then they welcome new guests by obeying, sometime they follow the guests and need some money for their parents there. They need the school there, but no school no teacher, nothing... I myself think that we must build the mobile school for them, like a truck with one teacher or two teachers, the teachers can go there by truck every morning and afternoon they can go back home as well.

What do you thin about? Like me? Or which way? You just see the school in the town but over there no school, but many armies. As for me, I still need you to help this. Can you help me to do that? ‘
